We provide advice and assistance in the areas of commercial transactions, establishing business entities, commercial and residential real estate, estate planning, and estate and trust administration. We represent landlords in landlord/tenant matters, and we represent municipalities and private persons/organizations in land use and zoning matters. We are licensed as title insurance agents in New Hampshire. We appear in local courts, and represent local banks.
Our Firm’s History
Michael Ransmeier founded his firm in 1990 when he recognized that northern New Hampshire would support a new law firm that offered services in commercial transactions, real estate, and estate planning and administration. Michael began practicing in 1973. He came to Littleton in 1984, after practicing with firms in Concord, New Hampshire, and Boston, Massachusetts. Joseph Ransmeier began practicing in Littleton in 2014, after two years of practice in Dillon, Montana.
We are located in Littleton, New Hampshire, which is about a half-hour’s drive from the county seats of Grafton and Coos counties. We are active in both counties, serving clients from the Canadian border to south of the White Mountains. For decades, we have represented a major French electrical equipment manufacturer, and a major Quebec, Canada manufacturer of logging equipment doing business here in New Hampshire. Both of these entities market their products globally.
